UFO - Mark releasing the flying object

This series of still images and the video created of this work are being exhibited in a show called 'The Visitors' showing at Penrith Regional Gallery from the 8th December 2007 - 28th January 2008.

UFO was a series of playful experiments with floating sculpture and interventions in public space.

This series was created one evening in a park in Glebe in Sydney. A crew of about 10 friends banded together to set these crude lantern-esque sculptures into the air.
